This year, we worked towards the strategy  adopted at our AGM in 2023, namely to advocate for an urgent transition away from our fossil fuel based economy.

The spike in global gas prices, and the resulting cost-of-living crisis, has created an even greater incentive to accelerate the transition towards a safer energy system. The race to zero carbon will not only support the UK’s climate goals and secure a better future, but critically it will unlock immense economic opportunity, enhance the UK’s energy security and protect households.
